Booth #633
Do you need a camera which can provide crisp, clear images in extremely low light levels? Photonis’ unique low light CMOS technology was awarded for its innovation and integration into a number of low-light systems and platforms.
New for Border Security is a Nocturn HD-SDI720p camera optimized for Size, Weight and Power (SWaP) applications, weighing less than a smart phone, nearly the size of a golf ball, and may be battery-powered, making it an ideal platform for OEM applications. Use it for static surveillance, hand-held video recording or long-range imaging for superior actionable images.
Nocturn Family of Cameras
Photonis’ Nocturn camera is a rugged low-light camera module that features high-definition resolution, high sensitivity and high dynamic range with low power consumption. Using our Nocturn camera will eliminate the need for secondary IR illumination or thermal augmentation due to its ability to provide actionable images in bright daytime sunlight or vivid nighttime starlight. These features make Nocturn cameras ideal for surveillance, security, and mobile applications as well as man-portable uses such as weapon sights, helmet displays, and monoculars.
Superior Sensors
Each one of our Nocturn cameras come equipped with one of the two following image sensors depending on your specifications:
- Our Lynx monochrome CMOS sensor provides superior detail and sharpens across the wide range of lighting conditions happening daily. Its extended spectral range provides laser detection up to 1100mm, the standard video frame rates for video recording.
- If you are looking for a color camera, our Kameleon Color CMOS sensor provides the same level of crystal clear detail in both day and night conditions. In surveillance applications, the Kameleon sensor provides actionable detail in both rural and city scenes.
