Main Misison:
The Purchaser supports manufacturing and operational readiness by sourcing and procuring indirect materials, equipment, and services. The role ensures cost control, supplier reliability, and adherence to company policies while contributing to the site's rapid growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end‑to‑end indirect procurement activities, including equipment, tooling, consumables, and services—to support daily operations.
- Create and maintain purchase requisitions and purchase orders in the ERP system (Sage).
- Track order status, resolve delivery issues, and ensure timely material availability.
- Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers; maintain approved supplier lists and master data.
- Solicit and evaluate quotations, comparing cost, lead times, and commercial terms.
- Support supplier performance monitoring and issue resolution.
- Contribute to cost‑reduction efforts and budget compliance; monitor pricing and purchasing metrics.
- Assist with inventory optimization in collaboration with operations and planning.
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with internal policies and regulations; maintain documentation and support audits.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and IT on production and project needs.

Experience & Education
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent experience.
- 2–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems; strong organizational and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work onsite as needed and interact with suppliers and partner facilities.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Preferred:
- Background in manufacturing, industrial, or regulated environments.
- Familiarity with indirect purchasing categories (equipment, tooling, MRO, services).
- Knowledge of U.S. commercial purchasing practices and supplier management.
- Experience in fast-growing or startup manufacturing settings
